Pat Hooton

I am married to my husband Roger and we have two grown up sons and three Grandchildren.  I worked for many years in the National Health Service (NHS), before retiring from my post of Director of Nursing and Operational Services at The Royal Liverpool Children’s NHS Trust.  I was born in Retford, but lived in Lancashire before moving to Walkeringham, just over 15 years ago.

I joined the Parish Council shortly after moving to Walkeringham as I wanted to help the Community.   I am actively involved in the Parish Council and was a member of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group.  I am the Co–Ordinator for the Walkeringham Emergency Plan and with the help of volunteers look after the Village plant troughs. I am also a School Governor for Walkeringham Primary School and Chairman/Secretary for Beckingham and District Gardening club.

My interests include protecting the environment, encouraging and protecting wildlife and maintaining the rural nature of our Village.
